On December 7th, 1941, the world changed for America. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. The next day, President Roosevelt declared war. In response to the attack, Admiral Chester Nimitz was sent to Pearl Harbor to help put together what America had lost. He inspired the military there and they quickly responded and within 6 months, America defeated Japan at the Battle of Midway. Admiral Nimitz has an incredible story of bravery and a never give up attitude. Come and hear how he helped give America the opportunity to succeed in World War II.
