For all of the credit that we give this man in our country’s history, during its formative years, I have often wondered if we give him enough credit. He created a vision in the minds of Americans about what we were and what we could achieve. The concept of ” … the pursuit of happiness” is not something that any other government had ever tried to encourage its people to achieve. What a great gift to bequeath future generations. He was a product of his time, and yet he was a man for all time. Thank you, again Mr. Jefferson for making so much possible in our country’s history and in its future.
