Any time you review the events of a specific month, an array of known and unknown subjects come up. Such is true when looking at the month of June. We have well known holidays, such as Flag Day on the 14th. But many other unique and important events took place during that month. For example: The Bill of Rights was introduced to Congress in 1789, the first hot air balloon flew in 1783, the first blood transfusion took place in1667, the first roller coaster opened in1884, the first Corvette was manufactured in 1953 and the first Superman Comic Book was published in 1938.
