That beautiful building has stood for over a 1000 years. Its walls ring with history. You walk among the famous kings and queens and prime ministers and politicians and poets who are all buried there. The building has been remodeled and renovated several times over the years and it is still a living church and a living monument to history. This cathedral represents the religious changes in England and the political upheavals and the warring families and the famous and the infamous. How did it come about?
